Dayton, Ohio – A 911 recording just released by Operation Rescue reveals that a medical emergency on August 16, 2012, at Martin Haskell’s Women’s Med Center in the Dayton suburb of Kettering involved uncontrolled bleeding on a 37-year old patient.
“She’s bleeding quite bad,” a caller from the Women’s Med Center told the emergency dispatcher.
Emergency responders transported the woman to Miami Valley Hospital. Her current condition remains unknown.
“There can be no doubt that Haskell and his associates present a serious danger to the public. It appears that the number of medical emergencies at his clinics is on the rise,” said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation. “We call on the Medical Board and the Health Department to take immediate action to protect women by closing Haskell’s abortion clinics pending investigation of this latest botched abortion.”
This is the third medical emergency documented at one of Haskell’s two Ohio abortion clinics this year and the fourth since 2009.
On February 9, 2012, another patient at Haskell’s Kettering location suffered complications from an abortion and could only breathe with the assistance of abortion clinic staff.
On March 28, Haskell personally placed a call to 911 from his abortion clinic in Sharonville, outside Cincinnati, for a patient suffering from uncontrolled seizures. Haskell is heard laughing at the dispatcher who offered him additional emergency instructions until the emergency responders could arrive.
The abortionist thought to be on duty during last week’s incident is Roslyn Kade, a long-time associate of Haskell’s who also works as an abortionist for Planned Parenthood. In 2007, Kade was sued by the parents of a 14-year old girl who allege that Kade illegally committed an abortion on their daughter without their consent after the young girl was impregnated by her 22-year old soccer coach. Her abuser took her for an abortion while pretending to be her step-brother. Kade never reported the incident of child sex abuse.
Operation Rescue filed a complaint against Haskell with the Ohio Medical Board earlier this year. That case is currently open and under investigation.
