Incident takes place just days after Preterm’s Medical Director’s license was suspended.
Cleveland, OH – When the ambulance pulled up to Preterm, a Cleveland, Ohio, abortion facility, at around 3:00 p.m. on July 26, 2017, pro-life activist Fred Sokol knew exactly what to do. He should. He’s had far too much practice documenting such incidents at Preterm.
Cell phone at the ready, Sokol photographed emergency workers entering Preterm with a gurney. He knew the only way up to the third-floor abortion procedure rooms was via an often-malfunctioning elevator.
Sokol watched and waited. This time, the elevator must have been working because it only took about ten minutes for the emergency responders to emerge from Preterm pushing their gurney.
As Sokol clicked away on his cell phone camera, he captured images of a woman covered in a pink blanket who was quickly loaded into an awaiting ambulance.
Under the blanket could be seen the chocolate brown arm of the patient — obviously African-American – who was from a community specifically targeted for abortion by Preterm.
Once the back doors were closed on the ambulance, it quickly sped away, transporting the woman to a nearby hospital. Operation Rescue is seeking records concerning the incident, which may help shed light on what happened.
The timing of the medical emergency was significant since Preterm’s Medical Director, abortionist David Burkons, was disciplined by the Ohio Medical Board just last week when it voted to suspend Burkon’s medical license for six months for illegally providing his staff with blank, signed prescription pads for the distribution of controlled substances. Such prescriptions were not noted in his medical records.
While the Medical Board has yet to produce the final suspension order, Burkon’s allegations, filed in 2015, can be read here. Meanwhile, Burkons continues to conduct abortions at the Northeast Ohio Women’s Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Founder’s Women’s Health Center in Columbus, Capital Care Network of Toledo, and Preterm.
Preterm is a high-volume abortion facility that has sent too many of their injured abortion patients to emergency rooms.
At least a dozen medical emergencies involving emergency ambulance transport have taken place at Preterm, including one on February 13, 2016, when a woman suffered a possible hemorrhage and uterine perforation during a 21.3 week abortion.
Another shocking case, a 300-pound woman suffered from hemorrhaging and needed immediate transfer to the hospital, but again, the elevator was not in working order. Extra emergency assistance was summoned to help carry the bleeding patient down two flights of stairs. It is inconceivable why Preterm abortionists would conduct such a high-risk surgical abortion knowing the elevator was down.
“Preterm is a proven danger to the public. We have been calling for its closure since Lakisha Wilson’s tragic death,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “From its dangerous facility conditions and patient care practices to its disgraced Medical Director, everything about this abortion business is troubling. It should be closed immediately!”
These should be forwarded to every member of congress and ask why we’re still funding Planned Parenthood, etc.

I agree with the others on here who think PP should be shut down but unfortunately that won’t affect the Preterm clinic or most of the others referenced in this article, as theyre all private clinics not at all run by Planned Parenthood. Preterm is a particularly dangerous clinic as they do abortions on the third floor, in a building with an elevator that not only malfunctions quite often but it also doesn’t fit a gurney unless it’s fully upright which can be dangerous to patients. Forget it if two or more need to be taken out on gurneys at once. Lakishas emergency care was delayed because the EMT’s got stuck in the elevator then when they finally got to her, they couldn’t do intubation until they got outside the building which may have saved her life. Even worse reports said when she stopped breathing they just left her alone in the room legs in stirrups. They showed total incompetence and a lack of respect for a human being. I’m furious that my own home state, despite having a pro life governor, pro life majority in states house&senate, and strong pro life public support that this clinic and others like it who consistently fail to pass inspections over and over again and put patients in the hospital or the morgue over and over again are still allowed to keep their doors open
Yes, there are alternatives to this unfortunate course of action. “The Human Coalition”, is also dedicated to aiding woman faced with this dilemma, financially and emotionally, etc. God Bless all those working to this end.
Someone should tell Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton that it is racism to kill black women while trying to kill black babies.
As long as Klanned Parenthood keeps cutting those checks made out to Jackal and Shrapnel, we’ll never hear a thing from those flim-flams.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY CREW GOES INTO ACTION AT PRETERM
Then a two person medical emergency crew pushed a gurney
into preterm to retrieve a patient allegedly in need of said medical gurney.
It seemed no longer than ten minutes the emergency crew exited preterm pushing the gurney with a person totally wrapped in a pink blanket somewhat sitting up.
The emergency crew then efficiently popped the person into the back of the medical emergency vehicle. The female medical emergency crew member jumped into the back of the vehicle with the patient. Then the medical emergency vehicle immediately drove away.
OPERATION RESCUE IS AWARE OF THIS SAID MEDICAL INCIDENT

Finally, I notified Operation Rescue with pictures and summary of this said alleged medical emergency at preterm. Operation Rescue will try to retrieve the 911 tape on this matter to find the cause of this alleged medical emergency at preterm abortion mill. I thank them for that.

In my opinion how disgusting is it for a woman to even go into preterm to kill her unborn baby giving no heed to her unborn baby’s health and welfare. Yet after having her unborn baby slaughtered finds her health and welfare threatened – then demands ‘taxpayer funded’ emergency vehicle, crew and medical help. Will these women ever learn not to abort and kill their unborn children?
