On Friday, October 27, 2023, shortly after 12 noon, a call was made to 911 from Walker Health Center, a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Traverse City, Michigan. The caller reported that a patient was experiencing an allergic reaction.
The employee did not have access to the woman’s medical record and seemed to guess that the woman may have been in her twenties. Overall, very little information was provided about the condition of the patient.
The computer-aided dispatch transcripts provide some clues
concerning the condition of the young woman. Based on the limited information provided to the dispatcher by the Planned Parenthood caller, the Call for Service Detail Report noted the situation was “non emergent” in the description.
However, it is important to note that the Incident Report indicated advanced life support (ALS) was administered.
ALS transport is designated for patients that require any of the following:
- Continuous intravenous therapy for administering necessary fluids or medications,
- Cardiac monitoring,
- Potential airway compromise,
- Potential complication during transport when reported by the sending facility,
- A life-threatening medical emergency (respiratory distress, stroke, seizure, chest pains, etc.).

Though this patient was obviously in serious condition, the employee requested “a silent approach.” It is not known whether the EMS professionals honored the caller’s request for no sirens, but, if they did, their arrival would certainly have been delayed as the suffering woman awaited the critical advanced life support she needed.
Operation Rescue President Troy Newman said, “This Planned Parenthood, and many other abortion businesses across the nation, care so little about their patients that they actually attempt to slow down the EMS professionals trained to provide emergency medical intervention for women who could be on the verge of dying.
“This pattern of heartlessness is seen over and over at these killing centers. This type of shockingly callous behavior is to be expected from people who kill innocent humans every day for a profit. However, because of the prevalent talking points of politicians and the mainstream media, girls and women walk into these dangerous dungeons of death actually believing they will receive compassionate and professional healthcare.
“Truly compassionate, pro-life, anti-abortion individuals and groups all over the nation must have a presence at these killing centers, telling and showing the truth, offering real help and hope. In the meantime, Operation Rescue will not stop exposing these murderers for who they really are.”
